Surrounding Areas in Southern Nevada
Most of the Surrounding Areas in Southern Nevada are what you would call a “Bedroom Community” of Las Vegas. Most are less than an hour drive to the Las Vegas Valley. Many of the residence of these surrounding areas travel to and from Las Vegas for work on a daily basis. The attraction of the “Rural” atmosphere or the “Price Point” is what has brought most folks to these outlying areas. The property type is vast in range and type from vacant land to ranch property and apartment complex to multi-million dollar custom estate.
You will also find a wide range in climate as some of the communities are green and lush due to the vast amounts of water surrounding the Lake Mead basin. Others like Mt. Charleston will have snow several months of the year, you’ll often see deer and elk and you be surrounded by pine trees. Most people are unaware of the wide range of climate in Southern Nevada.
