One of the most beautiful communities in Clark County is Desert Shores. It is a master planned community built around a series of beautiful and functional man-made lakes on the West side of the Las Vegas valley. The recreational opportunities offered to residents of Desert Shores include; picnics & barbecues, parks with fishing, swimming and boating. The community’s many paths and trails make it popular with people jogging, bicycling and roller blading on almost nine miles of paths stretched around the development.

There is also a swimming and paddle boats lagoon and beach facility complete with volleyball and basketball courts, picnic tables and playground open to residents to enjoy during daylight hours. Another item on the list of amenities offered to the homeowners in this area is a 2100 Sq.Ft. clubhouse, available to rent for parties and special occasions. Many of the lake-front homes have their own boat docks that accommodate rowboats and electric boats. The man-made lakes are stocked with fish annually.

The Desert Shores community is built on nearly 700 acres and includes approximately 3,500 homes. Most homes are single-family residences, with a few town homes in the gated Desert Shores Racquet Club.

Desert Shores homes are also conveniently located close to a wide variety of restaurants and retail shops. The 95 freeway and Summerlin Parkway provide access to the rest of the valley within minutes. The Las Vegas Strip and McCarran International Airport are only about a 30 minute drive.
