In the late 1990s Anthem in Henderson, NV was developed by Del Webb. Built on over 4,755 acres of land, it is still being developed to this day. Anthem in Henderson, NV is about twenty minutes from McCarran International Airport and 4 miles from the I-215 highway. Many of the communities located within the development are age-restricted for older adults.

Anthem is a resort-style environment that offers a variety of beautiful golf ranges, spas, fitness centers, on-site dining, swimming, and much more. Anthem community has several golf courses including the Anthem Country Club and the Revere, a rich lifestyle built around a private club. The homes in the community feature 2 to 5 bedrooms ranging from 1900 square feet to almost 5000.

Other builders are also building in the Anthem in Henderson, NV but a huge part of the project was developed by Del Webb. Anthem features several distinct communities, including Anthem Country Club, Anthem Coventry, Anthem Highlands, Sun City Anthem, Solera at Anthem, and The Club at Madeira Canyon.

Communities in Anthem in Henderson, NV:

* An exclusive neighborhood of about 1,700 high end custom homes is the core of Anthem Country Club. The guard-gated community is built around a golf course that extends through the hills of the McCullough Mountains. There are only some resale homes available in this community.

* Anthem Coventry is a family community of around 1,200 moderately priced single family homes. The non-gated neighborhood features beautiful parks, walking trails, a skateboard park, ball fields and covered play areas.

* Anthem Highlands is another family friendly section of the development that does not have age restrictions for the residents. The community offers five collections of homes, ranging from 1,580 to 3,483 square feet. Upon completion, the 400-acre project will consist of about 1,500 homes.

* Designed by Pulte/Del Webb, Sun City Anthem is one of the best known retirement communities in Las Vegas. About 7,000 homes are planned to be built. Designed to cater to active adults age 55 or older. The Revere golf course is at Sun City Anthem. Two 18-hole courses occupy the canyons of the McCullough Mountains. At the Anthem Center you will find a variety of social and recreational activities. There are plans for a second community center which features a performing arts center and additional fitness facilities.

* Solera at Anthem is a newer senior community. All residences must have one owner/occupant at least 55 years old, and there are no permanent residents under age 19. There will be approximately 1,750 smaller homes on a 385-acre master-planned community with five single story designs ranging from 1,140 to 1,771 square feet. Solera is close to The Revere at Anthem as well as other local golf courses. There are Tennis courts with future plans for a pool, spa, fitness center, and a club area.

* Opened for sale in July of 2005, the Club Madeira Canyon is a new Del Webb family community. It will be guard gated and will have a community center with pool, tennis and activity rooms. Some lots will have strip and mountain views. It will be south of the present homes/construction at Anthem.
