The Valley consists of three cities; Henderson, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. There is also a large part of “Las Vegas” that is not in the city limits but is in Clark County. Like most major metropolitan communities it is very difficult to know the exact boundaries as they all run together. Las Vegas is no different, most locals even have a hard time determining the difference between “Las Vegas Communities.”

The “Surrounding Areas” are much different, they range in distance from 10 to nearly 100 miles outside of the Valley. Most of these areas are isolated and are what you would call a “Bedroom” community with many people commuting to Vegas daily for work.

This vast diversity is what makes Southern Nevada such a great place to call home.
