Only 17 miles from the famous Las Vegas Strip, Lake Las Vegas resort is placed in desert's mountainside. It is built in the same fashion as North Italian towns. The Fountainhead Company is planning a new, $220 million, 324-unit mid-rise community called Galileo at Lake Las Vegas. The 23-acre site was purchased along the North Shore for $44 million. Galileo will consist of nine mid-rise buildings, two, three, and four stories high. Residences will range from 1,300 to 2,500 square feet. Prices have yet to be determined.
