
Many first time visitors to the Las Vegas Valley are a bit confused about what and where to find Green Valley. Well it´s not a city but it is one of the most sought after areas of the city of Henderson. Green Valley is one of the older Master Planned communities in the Las Vegas Valley, with most of the homes built in the late 1980´s and 1990´s. This makes parts of Green Valley "Old" by Las Vegas standards but by no means outdated! The boundaries of Green Valley are even a little unclear to the natives as Green Valley seems to get bigger and bigger as the people in surrounding areas just say "I live in Green Valley!"
In Green Valley you will find much larger lots than most of the newer communities and there are very few new construction options left in the area. Older larger lots mean more mature trees in the parks, schools, and walking paths.
